Our strategies
Conducting applied research to address local, state, national and global issues
We engage in reciprocal learning, needs assessment and problem solving with a focus on social, environmental and economic issues that affect Oregonians lives and livelihoods.
Building toward equity through community collaboration
We make concerted and deliberate efforts to reach and collaborate with new audiences and diverse, underserved and underrepresented communities to equitably address their needs and work toward equity in all aspects of program development, delivery and evaluation.
Linking OSU with communities
We engage with OSU colleges, faculty and students to extend and apply research-based information, foster experiential learning and create access to university academic and noncredit programs.
